Perry has been known as
an oasis for travelers who need a stopping place for over 150 years. Perry
is lovely, lively and close to a number of exciting attractions. We're famous
for the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter.
No wonder our number one
industry is tourism!
Although we're on top of new
technologies, we still share the same love of tradition and old-fashioned
values that made us strong. Located along I-75, Perry is the gateway to the
southern entrance of the Historic Heartland. We're noted for a beautiful
colonial downtown area with dozens of quaint shops in a park-like setting.
Our industrial and business
communities, churches, and numerous civic organizations work in harmony with
the City of Perry to insure that the needs of our citizens are met. Citizens
of our city are proud of the many good things we offer visitors and residents
alike. We are certain you will find our city a great place to live, work, and
visit! Our mild climate, progressive economy, and strategic location make
Perry, also know as the "Crossroads of Georgia", an ideal
environment for business, industry, and commerce. We provide many amenities
while retaining a small town charm and atmosphere.
We hope you will take a few
minutes to explore our Web site to learn more about our community, government,
and services. We are pleased to provide you with general and specific
information on Mayor/City Council meetings, building permit applications,
inspection requests, applications for water, natural gas, and sewer service,
parks and recreation registration; not to mention economic information for
prospective business and industry.
We hope that our site will
help make your visit to the City of Perry a rewarding and informative
experience.
Perry...The Crossroads of
Georgia. The peach of Georgia's Piedmont region. The place where
economic development and natural resources converge in perfect harmony,
creating a climate uniquely suited to business and industry. Perry is all
these things, and more. Perry ---- A southern experience and
simply better for business!
