“The Perry Main Street Program is so excited about hosting the second Annual Perry Buzzard Drop,” Perry Main Street President Susan Scragg said. “We hope that all of middle Georgia will come out and shake their tail feathers with Bob the Buzzard and the Has Beens. Put on your sequins or your jeans, and come ring in the new year with us at the Second Annual Perry Buzzard Drop.”
The Has Beens will headline the second annual Buzzard Drop event at 9p.m., following a performace by Jettison Blue at 8.pm.
The Has Beens band features Eddie Stone (keyboard and vocals), an original member of the Doc Holliday Band, as well as four original members of Capricorn recording artists Stillwater: Mike Causey (guitar and vocals), Al Scarborough (bass and vocals), Rob Walker (guitar and vocals), Sebie Lacey (drums and vocals).
Jettison Blue features Kurt Woods on drums, Shea Smith on guitar, Al Magallano on bass guitar, Edward Clark on saxophone and Bill O’Neal performing lead vocals.
