| Perry's refuse collection is performed by an independent
contractor. Your utility bill includes a charge for refuse service. All
residents of Perry are required to pay for refuse unless you live in an
apartment complex that provides a dumpster for its residents. Weekly pickup of more than
one container per week is available at additional
cost and can be arranged by calling the Utility Services Division of the Financial Services
Department at (478) 988-2742. In the event that weather conditions prohibit
pickup, your refuse will be collected as soon as the roads are passable. A map of

here. Perry's dry refuse collection is performed by the Public Works staff. The Public Works Department cannot deviate from it's designated schedule to pickup dry refuse. The City of Perry appreciates citizens patience as we endeavor to cover the entire city limits within one (1) week time. However, citizens should be aware that the time frame is dependent upon the amount of debris generated at certain times of the year. Peak times are normally Spring and Fall..
