Form-Based Code Public Input Meeting: February 18

As you are aware the City is working to develop and implement form-based code in the General Courtney Hodges Boulevard corridor. This exciting new development code will allow you to utilize your property for a wider range of uses, guide development in the corridor, and make your properties more attractive and marketable. We are currently working through the development process and want to work with you in developing a code that will benefit you, your property, and your business. Your input into this project is critical! We appreciate the support and involvement up to this point and want to invite you to participate in the next part of the public input process, the final public input meeting that will take place February 18, 2016 here in Perry at City Hall (1211 Washington Street) in the Council Chambers beginning at 12:00 noon. For this event, lunch will be provided and staff from the City of Perry and TSW will receive public input and comment and work with the community in developing a code that benefits everyone. Please make plans to participate. If you cannot make this event, please let me know and I can assist with making sure your voice is heard on this important matter. CDBG Public Hearing – February 4; 5:00 p.m.

Help us improve our community’s housing! The City of Perry will be hosting a public hearing to discuss the proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing project on Thursday, February 4 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall (1211 Washington Street). Lead by the Perry Housing Team, the City will be applying for funding to rehabilitate houses in the Sand Hill Neighborhood in Perry. Discussions will also be held on the associated Revitalization Area Strategy for the Sand Hill Neighborhood. The City of Perry is dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and efficient parking throughout our community to our residents and visitors. The City is pleased to now offer dedicated bus parking in Downtown Perry!
