Middle Georgia’s Biggest NYE Celebration

Spend your New Year’s Eve in downtown Perry, GA with ice skating, live music and more!  We will be kicking off The Perry Buzzard Drop at 6:00 p.m. with this year’s exciting addition, Ice Skating in Historic Downtown Perry! You will be able to skate on a synthetic ice skating rink with your family and friends during middle Georgia’s biggest community NYE celebration! Hours for ice skating are December 31st, 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and January 1st, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold for $5 for children 10 & under and $7 for adults. Buy your tickets ahead of time at iceskateperryga.eventbrite.com.  You can also purchase them day of event. Live entertainment begins at 9:00 p.m. with Southside Station Band! We are excited to bring the #1 Zac Brown Cover Band to Perry! Southside Station Band is a group of multi-talented musicians playing acoustic guitar, lead guitar, bass, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, upright bass, harmonica and drums. They have a unique song list of legendary dance hits, rock, country, yacht rock and singer song writer hits. Just Tap’d, Bodega Brew, Chille Street Eats and Jason Bivons BBQ will be selling food and drink at the event. And don’t miss Bodega Brew’s waffles at midnight to conclude the celebration! No personal heaters or outside coolers are allowed at this event. A complimentary take-home shuttle will begin at 10:00 p.m  from downtown Perry to homes and destinations within Perry city limits .  Please make plans to arrive and leave safely. Only Rain Down the Storm Drain

December 18, 2018

The City is participating in the “Only Rain Down the Storm Drain” sticker program. The goal is to educate and alert residents not to dump pollutants in or near the stormwater drain. Stormwater drains connect to local waterways and anything entering the drain will pollute those waters. Over the coming weeks, stickers will be placed on storm drain inlets throughout the city. Ice Skating in Perry!

This year’s annual Perry Buzzard Drop will include a synthetic ICE SKATING RINK!  Join us beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Dec. 31st and Ice skate Historic Downtown Perry for the first time ever with your family and friends! Hours and prices are listed below! All participants will be required to sign a waiver before ice skating.
