FREE Yoga in the Park Session This Saturday!

We have a very special day planned on Saturday, September 28th to celebrate National Public Lands Day and our final Yoga in the Park session of 2019! Did you know? National Public Lands Day is the largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands! On this national day when volunteers of all ages and abilities roll up their sleeves and work side-by-side to care for public lands, we are inviting you to join us as we complete our final Yoga in the Park session of the 2019 event season followed by an optional park cleanup initiative. This free session is led by Homegrown Yoga and welcomes all ages, abilities and fitness levels! Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat or towel and a limited number of yoga mats will be available to borrow. Immediately following the conclusion of our yoga session, we welcome everyone to join us in our park cleanup initiative will begin at 10 AM. Participants will be encouraged to walk the park and trail to assist with collecting and removing litter from the park and trail areas. Participants will be provided with all of the necessary gear to safely gather litter from around Rozar Park. The first 100 participants (for the Park Cleanup Initiative) will receive a free bag from the City of Perry with swag items and coupons from our partners Bodega Brew and Homegrown Yoga! The Park Cleanup Initiative will conclude at 11 AM. Bodega Brew will be serving complementary refreshing iced beverages throughout the event as well! Celebrating 10 Years of Music in Our Community!

Celebrating 10 Years of Music in Our Community! The 10th Annual Perry Music Festival is Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Rotary Centennial Park, 650 General Courtney Hodges Boulevard in Perry, GA.   It will begin at 4PM and run until 11PM.  It is free admission. There will be local food and drink  vendors onsite serving all evening long! The lineup this year will not disappoint.  It is packed with hometown and other exciting talent from middle Georgia.  The full lineup is listed below: DJ Mix Master T Trombone Love The Dubshak Band Dam-Fi-No Band Big Mike & the Booty Papas Bold-N-Beautiful No outside coolers, food or alcohol permitted.
