The City of Perry is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Ansley Fitzner as the City’s Public Works Superintendent. Her appointment was approved during the July 7, 2020 council meeting. “I’m so proud to live in this great city and serve the citizens of Perry. I plan to lead the Public Works Department with the energy and enthusiasm needed to capitalize on our strengths. We are motivated to constantly strive for improvements in our services and staff,” said Ms. Fitzner. Ms. Fitzner graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Her professional experience includes landscape maintenance, seasonal color programming, landscape design, landscape construction administration, and grant writing. She has served as the City’s Landscape Manager since 2017. Ms. Fitzner has two boys, Watt (age 5) and Ellis (age 3). City of Perry Public Works is located at 500 Ball Street in Perry.
