This virtual event will take place on Friday, June 5th with gameplay starting at 7:00 PM! Featuring multiple rounds and fun prizes, we’re talking about FREE…FAMILY…FUN all from the comfort and safety of your own couch or kitchen table! Invite your friends and other family members in other households to compete with you from the safety of their homes, too! City of Perry residency is NOT required to play or to win! Gov. Kemp Issues New Executive Order | April 20, 2020

Governor Kemp issued a new Executive Order regarding reopening businesses and the state’s Shelter in Place order. Here are the highlights: ✔️ Reopens certain businesses beginning Friday, April 24, 2020 but with limitations. ✔️ Georgia’s Shelter in Place order is expected to end April 30, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. ✔️ Restaurants may resume limited dine in service on Monday, April 27, 2020. ✔️ Bars and nightclubs are to remain closed. Governor Kemp’s Executive Order Information

Governor Kemp’s shelter-in-place order begins today at 6:00 p.m. and extends through April 30 at 11:59 p.m. The order states residents must stay home unless engaging in essential services, performing necessary travel, performing minimum basic operations, or are those part of the critical infrastructure work force. Essential Services means obtaining necessary supplies or services for your household. This includes traveling to the grocery store, medical appointments, and pharmacies. You may also travel to pick up food or have it delivered to your house. You may also leave your house in the event of an emergency. Necessary travel means the travel required for someone to conduct or participate in essential services, minimum basic operations, or work for Critical Infrastructure. FREE Yoga in the Park Session This Saturday!

We have a very special day planned on Saturday, September 28th to celebrate National Public Lands Day and our final Yoga in the Park session of 2019! Did you know? National Public Lands Day is the largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands! On this national day when volunteers of all ages and abilities roll up their sleeves and work side-by-side to care for public lands, we are inviting you to join us as we complete our final Yoga in the Park session of the 2019 event season followed by an optional park cleanup initiative. This free session is led by Homegrown Yoga and welcomes all ages, abilities and fitness levels! Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat or towel and a limited number of yoga mats will be available to borrow. Immediately following the conclusion of our yoga session, we welcome everyone to join us in our park cleanup initiative will begin at 10 AM. Participants will be encouraged to walk the park and trail to assist with collecting and removing litter from the park and trail areas. Participants will be provided with all of the necessary gear to safely gather litter from around Rozar Park. The first 100 participants (for the Park Cleanup Initiative) will receive a free bag from the City of Perry with swag items and coupons from our partners Bodega Brew and Homegrown Yoga! The Park Cleanup Initiative will conclude at 11 AM. Bodega Brew will be serving complementary refreshing iced beverages throughout the event as well! Food Truck Friday

The City of Perry is excited for our 2nd Food Truck Friday on May 10th! Grab your family and friends and meet us in Downtown Perry! We are expanding the event footprint and DOUBLING the FUN! We will have DOUBLE the food trucks to better serve you! Come out and try something new! An expanded FREE “Kids Zone” will be available with bounce houses and a slide from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and face-painting from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.! Live music by The Delta Moan starts at 7:00 p.m.! Leashed dogs are allowed at this event. No outside coolers or alcohol allowed. Bag chairs are allowed and strongly encouraged! JOIN US in Perry for your best Food Truck Friday ever!
