2017 CDBG Public Hearing, Wed March 8

March 2, 2017

The City will be hosting a public hearing on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Perry City Hall (1211 Washington Street) in the downstairs Council Chambers. The purpose of the public hearing will be to discuss the City’s interest in applying for a 2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to complete phase 2 of the ongoing Sand Hill housing improvements. The City will be requesting $750,000 from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) for housing rehabilitation and reconstruction activities that will have a significant and positive impact in the Sand Hill neighborhood and the families these types of grants touch. Come let us know what you  think! All are welcome!   For more information on this project please contact Mr. Robert Smith, Perry Housing Team Leader, at (478) 988-2757 or via email at robert.smith@perry-ga.gov.a

Public Arts Survey

February 14, 2017

Perry is currently experiencing tremendous growth and is expected to continue this trend for years to come. The City Council, Administrators, Businesses, and Community want to maximize this opportunity for all future generations to come. Public Art is considered an essential asset to be included within these plans as outlined within the City’s adopted 2014 Strategic Master Plan. Your completion of this survey is critical to the creation of a Public Arts Master Plan currently underway for the city. We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to hear your voice and welcome any questions you may have.  –  Perry Public Arts Commission Go to the Perry Public Arts Commission Survey tab on the home page to complete.
