The City of Perry is excited for our first ever Oktoberfest event right here in downtown Historic Perry, GA! Oktoberfest will be held on October 20th from 3:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m.  This event is free admission to the community and barbeque, brats, and beer galore will be sold throughout the evening by various vendors. Piedmont Brewing & Kitchen, Just Tap’d, The Swanson and Bodega Brew will supply an array of German and traditional spirits.

Attendees can expect traditional Bavarian style with a sweet southern twist to fill the streets of downtown. Bodega Brew will be hosting a Homebrew competition at their outdoor lot and the Stripling’s Sausage Eating contest and Yodeling contest will begin at the main stage at 3:30 p.m. Come hungry and join in on the good fun! Prizes will be awarded to each winner.

Live entertainment will kick off at 5:00 p.m. A local favorite, the Megan Brent Blues Band, will be opening the show, followed by Jamie Davis, a southern country-rock favorite, and headlining our event is the Danielle Nicole Band! We are excited to host a night of food, fun, family, friends and several local favorites.

The City of Perry would like to thank Stripling’s General Store and the Perry Area Convention and Visitors Bureau for sponsoring this year’s event. With every event, we are reminded that Perry truly is the place where Georgia comes together.

Dust off your Lederhosen and make plans to join us this Saturday in Downtown Perry for Oktoberfest 2018!
