Progress continues on the Perry Branding Initiative, a community-wide effort aimed at differentiating our community, bringing visitors and businesses into Perry, and ensuring we provide the Perry experience that people desire. A collaborative effort on behalf of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce, Discover Perry, Uptown Perry Partnership, Perry Downtown Development Authority, Perry Area Historical Society, Perry Downtown Merchants Association, Perry Main Street, and the City of Perry, this critical effort will help promote the economic and social vitality in Perry for years to come.
Having completed the Research and Analysis phase of the project and working on the creative aspects of our brand, it is becoming increasingly clear as to who we are as a community, what our strengths and weaknesses are, and how we can market ourselves to the rest of the world. Our brand is materializing…and it’s going to be something that we as a community can really be proud of. Remember, a brand is so much more than just a logo or a tagline. Our brand is a reflection of Perry. Who we are, what we eat, the way we welcome people to our community, etc. Perry’s brand is the complete experience of our community and our community’s promise to others.
