The Perry Buzzard Drop Committee is excited to bring the 5th Annual Buzzard Drop to Middle Georgia. Every year the committee strives to make the next Buzzard Drop bigger and better than before. This year is definitely on track to deliver great music and fun for everyone!
The Breakfast Club® will headline this year’s event at 9 p.m. on the lawn of the former courthouse on the 800 block of Carroll Street in downtown Perry. The Breakfast Club® prides itself as being the longest running, most recognized ‘80s tribute band in the U.S. They will definitely have Perry rocking for New Year’s.
Mayor Faircloth is also excited about the event! He comments, “Please join me as we remember and celebrate numerous accomplishments in 2017, and ring in the New Year at the Buzzard Drop New Year’s Eve in Perry! We will have great entertainment, good fellowship, and kick off 2018 with a toast to our continued success! I look forward to seeing you there.”
The event will have food and spirit vendors. The admission is free. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. with house music.
Event organizers want to ensure attendees enjoy the event safely. Personal heaters, coolers, outside alcohol and glass bottles and pets, unless service animals are prohibited. As well for the safety of the participants the following equipment/items will not be allowed to enter the designated area for the event: bicycles, golf carts, skateboards, roller skates, and hover boards.
