The
City of Perry's Finance Department's primary responsibilities are to safeguard the City's assets, insure maximum utilization of revenues, provide financial support to operating departments and report accurate and timely financial information to the
Mayor, City Council, management, and citizens of the community.
The department offers General Accounting, Treasury, Revenue Recovery and Purchasing services to City departments. This includes providing financial analysis upon request including the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, billing and collection of revenues, administration and billing of occupational taxes, processing of payroll, accounts payable and travel, and coordination of all City purchasing, cash and investment management, pension management, debt management, mail services, and disposition of all surplus property.
