Planning Commission

Meeting Dates: 2nd and 4th Monday of each month

Time: 6:00pm

Location: Council Chambers at Perry City Hall

The Perry Planning Commission consists of seven members as appointed by Mayor and Council.  The function of the commission is to make informative recommendations and plans for the physical, social, and economic growth of Perry to promote the public health, safety, and welfare.

Responsibilities

The Planning Commission shall have the authority to approve:

• Variances
• Administrative Appeals
• Preliminary Plats
• Final Plats (greater than five lots)

The Planning Commission shall make a recommendation to Mayor and Council on the following:

• Rezonings
• Annexations
• Perry Land Development Ordinance Amendments
• Special Exceptions
• Master Plans
