The Planning and Zoning Division is responsible for the current and long range planning activities which guide the orderly growth and development of the City of Perry.

These planning activities are performed through implementation of the Perry Land Development Ordinance (PLDO) along with shaping growth and redevelopment to meet the City's Comprehensive Plan.

The Division prepares and presents recommendations that ensure compliance with the PLDO in partnership with the Perry Planning Commission to achieve a livable city while balancing the needs of residents and businesses.
