Perry Police Investigate Domestic-Related Shooting on Figston Run
On September 21, 2025, 1852 hours, officers with the Perry Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Figston Run.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim who had sustained injuries related to the incident. Emergency medical services were called to the scene, and the victim was transported for treatment.
Following the initial investigation, the suspect was identified as 22 years old, Alec Bloodworth. He has been taken into custody and is being charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
This incident is believed to be domestic-related, and there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
