Arson Arrest Made Following Residential Fire in Perry On July 8, 2024, at around 13:00 hrs., the City of Perry Fire Department and Perry Police Department responded to a residential structure fire at 228 Shoshone Circle, Perry, Georgia. After the fire was extinguished by Perry Fire personnel, a joint investigation was launched into the cause and origin of the fire. On June 11, 2024, the Perry Police Department Criminal Investigation Division in partnership with Special Agents from the Georgia Department of Revenue Alcohol and Tobacco Division conducted ID compliance checks at several businesses in the City of Perry.
