Mission

The mission of the City Clerk’s Office is to maintain and provide public records and provide quality services to the Perry City Council, city staff, and to the citizens of the City of Perry.

Responsibilities

The office of the City Clerk serves as the custodian of the City Seal and all records adopted by the Mayor and Perry City Council and management of the official Code of Ordinances. Mandated by state law, the office of the City Clerk maintains elected officials' campaign filings including campaign contribution forms, financial disclosure forms, etc. Additionally, the City Clerk assists with agenda preparation, maintains all appointments to City boards, provides administrative support, including travel, and maintains financial reports of the Mayor and City Council.
