Perry Trash Dash To Promote Clean, Vibrant Neighborhoods

The City of Perry Community Development Department will host the annual Trash Dash to promote clean, vibrant neighborhoods on April 22.

This City-wide event is designed to support community engagement and promote clean, vibrant neighborhoods. Participants are encouraged to register as an individual or team to see who can pick up the most trash around the city.

Participants will meet at the Perry Events Center (1121 Macon Road) 9:00 a.m. to pick up supplies (trash bags, grabbers, glover, etc.). The first 150 registered participants will receive a free Trash Dash t-shirt.

Trash can be dropped off at bag drop locations throughout the City during the course of the event or can be arranged for pickup by City staff.

Beginning at Noon, participants will have the opportunity to stay and tie-dye their t-shirt at the Events Center.

Register for the Perry Trash Dash on the City’s website.
