Mandatory 10-Digit Dialing Effective October 2021

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) designated 988 as the new, nationwide, 3-digit phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This designation requires all phone service providers to direct all 988 calls to the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by July 16, 2022. State of Georgia Rental Assistance Program

The State of Georgia received $552 million from U.S. Treasury’s Federal Emergency Rental Assistance Program to provide relief to those whose finances have been negatively impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The money will be distributed directly to landlords/utility companies, and eligible applicants can receive up to 12-15 months of payment relief. More Information
