Junior Fire Academy Applications Now Open

This 5-day camp gives upcoming 7th & 8th grade Perry-area students hands-on experience while exploring the exciting career of a firefighter. Students build teamwork, leadership, and life-saving skills in a fun, interactive environment!

Application Deadline: May 30, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
Orientation: Friday, June 6 at 6 PM at Davis Farm Fire Station 2 (150 Commodore Drive)
Academy Dates: June 9-13 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. each day
Location: Davis Farm Fire Station 2 (150 Commodore Drive)
Age Group: City of Perry Middle Schoolers (Upcoming 7th & 8th Graders)

Activities Include:

• Tour of the Fire Station and Apparatus

• Fire Extinguisher Training

• First Aid Training

• CPR Training

• Mock Search and Rescue Drills

• Hose Operations

Parent/guardian will be required to complete a Waiver of Liability during the Junior Fire Academy Orientation on Friday, June 6.
