Perry Fire & Emergency Services Recognized With Life Saving Award

Mayor and Council recognized members of the City of Perry Fire & Emergency Services with the Life Saving award for their response to a gunshot wound victim in January. The Perry Police Department was proud to host the Georgia Crisis Intervention Team Training instructed by the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in February. This intensive, 40-hour five day training prepares law enforcement officers and other public safety personnel with the skills to assist those with mental illness, co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, developmental disorders, or other brain disorders who are in crisis. Rozar Park Playground Closed Due to Construction

Beginning Monday, January 25 the Rozar Park playground will be closed due to construction. The closure is expected to last for two weeks.
