Vendor Fees
The City of Perry has implemented vendor fees to reduce no-shows and improve vendor compliance with event policies.
How are vendor fees determined?
Vendor fees are based on:
- The average attendance expected at the event
- The number of vendors approved for participation
This ensures fairness across events of different sizes.
What if I already have a deposit with the City?
Any current deposit on file will automatically be applied to your vendor fees.
When do I pay?
- Once your application is approved, you’ll receive an email with a link to the payment page.
- Payment must be made within 30 days of approval to secure your space.
Are vendor fees refundable?
- Refunds will only be issued if the City cancels the event.
- If you withdraw or cannot attend, fees will not be refunded.
Required Vendor Quiz
Starting in 2026, all vendors must complete a Vendor Eligibility Quiz before being approved to participate in City of Perry Special Events.
Why are we implementing this quiz?
- To ensure every vendor has reviewed the Vendor Information Packet in full
- To confirm that vendors understand event policies, requirements, and expectations
- To reduce confusion and miscommunication on event day
- To create a more consistent, professional experience for both vendors and attendees
How it works:
The quiz is short and straightforward—all answers are found in the Vendor Information Packet. It only needs to be completed once per calendar year, no matter how many events you apply for. You must answer all questions correctly to be eligible for approval.
- Gather required documents (business license, health inspection, insurance, etc.)
- Review the Vendor Packet and complete the required quiz (once per year).
- Submit applications for each event you’d like to attend.
- Wait for approval email from the Special Events Administrator
Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
If you do not receive an approval email by the review dates listed in the application, your submission has been placed on the waitlist.
Should a space become available, the Special Events Administrator will contact you directly.
- All vendors must have a valid 2025 business license at the time of application.
- Food vendors must display a current health inspection score and pass an on-site fire inspection.
- Vendors must remain for the entire event; early breakdowns are not allowed.
- Catcalling, aggressive solicitation, or selling unauthorized items is strictly prohibited.
- Vendor spaces are assigned upon arrival. You will be directed to a set-up location to allow for efficient load-in and to avoid blocking major roadways.
- Location requests will not be accepted. Argumentative vendors will be asked to leave and will forfeit their vendor fee.
- The City of Perry does not provide tents, tables, chairs, water, or electricity for vendor set-up.
